<p><strong>Date:</strong> Saturday, Aug 22, 2026<br><strong>Time:</strong> First load begins at <strong>8:30 AM</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> 186 Piedra Loop, White Rock</p><p>If you’d like to fire, please bring 2–3 bisque-fired pieces glazed with Raku glaze.</p><p><strong>Trying Horsehair?</strong> Bisque your piece with Terra Sigillata (available in the LA studio) for a smooth, polished surface.</p><p><strong>No Raku glazes?</strong> I have a few available for a $5 fee.</p><p>There is a <strong>$5 firing fee</strong> for those participating to help cover propane and supplies.</p><p>We’ll aim for 2 firings depending on participation, piece size, and weather. Raku is an active, hands-on process, so those firing should plan to help with the process. Please wear cotton clothing and closed-toe shoes.</p><p>New to Raku? Feel free to stop by, watch the process, and connect with other members — you don’t need to be firing a piece to attend.</p><p><strong>Need something bisqued for the event?</strong> I’ll be doing a bisque firing in my kiln 3–5 days before Raku event. Let me know if you need a piece fired, and we can arrange drop-off and pickup.</p><p>Hope to see you there!</p>
